Last stand at Avadon

 After the imperial victory at the Preceptor Line it's time for the Legio Fortidus to launch a suicide attack against the Warmaster's forces on the coastal city of Avadon to divert their attention form fleeing refugees

 Two warlords are deployed with more on the way

 Both warlords concentrate their fire on the Legio Mortis command titan

 Mortis reinforcements

 Concentrated fire strips the shields from the traitor

 A shot from the Volcano cannon of princeps Utu-Lerna destroys the enemy princeps seniores

 The traitors concentrate their fire on Red Vengeance

 But Bloodgeld comes to the rescue

 Finally it is an aimed volcano shot from the loyalist engine that pierces the heart of  another enemy warlord, giving Utu-Lerna her second kill of the day

Shaken by the losses, Legio Mortis leaves the loyalists alone, covering both warlords the retreat of the ragged imperials to Lupercalia
