100K pageviews!

The blog today reached 100k views, many thanks to all viewers for your support.

As a way of thanks I'll post some filler: how to play the AWI with Age of Reason

You'll need a map of course
The american player starts with New England, the Southern and Middle Atlantic Colonies, all of them militia zones, the capital is in the middle colonies. 20 SP, and one SP in each initial territory. If the americans buy a fleet they can also have one SP of marines as the other colonial powers.

Great Britain starts with 20 SP plus one SP in each territory, five war fleets, four transport fleets, one king (supreme commander +2) and three subcommanders +1.
France starts with 20 SP plus one SP in each territory, four war fleets, two transport fleets, one SP of guard cuirassiers, one SP of guard infantry, one king (supreme commander +2) and three subcommanders +1.
Great Britain starts with 20 SP plus one SP in each territory, three war fleets, two transport fleets, one king (supreme commander +2) and three subcommanders +1.

The campaign lasts 24 turns (8 years). The first turn only the americans and british can play. The french enter at war with britain in the 9th turn and the spanish in the 12th. Fom turn 5th to 9th the americans recieve foreign aid in the shape of five "tricornes" per turn.

Victory: if two out of three initial american territories remain in american (or allied) hands by the end of the last turn the revolution has suceeded to conquer independence!

The rest of nations deploy as per the map below: red british, yellow spanish, green french. Grey are neutral states posessions and can't be attacked. Note that I've replaced New Granada with the Philippines to give the map a more circular gameplay, feel free to change it if you want.

Now to finish the british army, begin the american and do some "transport" ships (frigates and brigs really).

  2. Thanks! I'm passing through a historical fanboy phase right now so not much heresy stuff in the future, I'm in the process of ditching the siege of Terra project since there's no one else interested. I'll play a 40k game a month tough, if there are opponents, and did I mention that I'm painting FW's Horus?
