Underhive rescue

 

Having destroyed the blasphemous prophet that dared preach against the Master of Mankind, blessed Klovis retreated to the redeptionist holdings of the Spire, there to save the souls of two misguided eschers captured by the crusade

Their misguided comrades however couldn't let such a good deed be done in peace, and launched a desperate mission to drag them back to a life of sin and degeneration

The deviant host even unleashed witchery against the brethren, their foul sorcery unleasing the very flames of hell on the faithful

Against such a tide of heresy and corruption just two brave templars stood

Holding bravely their ground while the rest of the crusade rushed to the spot

But at last the righteous triumphed over the forces of sin, unleashing the clensing fire of the Redemption on their sinful bodies

Filled with zeal brother Hadrian jumped from cover after firing his exterminator, killing off two eschers in quick succession

While from on high brother Kiodrus laid down covering fire with his shotgun

And even the enemy witch fell to the blades of the faithful

And when Klovis and the rest of the faithful arrived on the battlefield the rest of that ragged band of sinners was cleansed in holy fire

Praise be to our lord

Alas the poor girl wouldn't recant her heresies, and with a heavy heart the Redeemer consigned her to a purifying pyre, sending her soul before the Emperor to answer for a lifetime of sin

The assault had greatly troubled the holy Redeemer however, and in his wisdom he took personal charge of the conversion of our second prisioner

Guessing rightly that a second rescue attempt would be made to prevent her salvation

The second assault on our hideout was far more sneaky however, the she devils hugging cover and moving from shadow to shadow

An overcharged plasma shot however made Klovis sound the alarm, and the hosts of redemption fell on the horrid eschers

Headed by the Redeemer and the holy flame of his Sword of Persecution

The deviant leader of that band of sinners even dared attack my beloved mentor, who cut her down with a lethal swing of his sacred eviscerator

Her death took at last the fight out of the heretic rabble

Leaving behind a woman who joyously embraced her salvation, and swore herself body and sou to the the cause of Redemption!
