Slaughter at Breder

After the fall of Hergig the defenders counterratacked at the small village of Breder, which had been ransacked by hordes of the vile ratmen

Deployed hugging the board's edge the dwarves started to fire away at the foe, only for a storm of lighnting bolts to fall amongst them with great casualties

Their fire however managed to rout the rat ogres

And the jezzails deployed on top of the hill

On the second turn the skaven scurried quickly towards the foe

Only to be surprised by a mining squad emerging on their right flank

Undaunted the rat general answered with ratling fire

While another warp lightning blew away a regiment of miners

Turn three was reached and the first ratman units slammed into the foe

Anihilating what remained of the dwarf left

The dwarves tried to regain the initiative with some charges

But then the skaven slammed into their warmachines and carnage ensued

And with the explosion of the runic anvil who nuked itself, the battle came to a close. Having defended the skaven Breder with a decisive victory
