Necromunda scenery

Painted a leftover sector mechanicus piece I had lying around for a Necromunda campaign
Part of the galvanic magnavent kit, this ventilator unit was glued to a pipe section to make the piece bottom heavy and so less prone to tip over during the game

Sector Mechanicus platforms

My Necromunda scenery had plenty of machinery and silos, but until now lacked an iconic element in any game: platforms. Luckily I found a cheap Galvanic magnavent online and assembled it into two long walkways to give some high ground to the underhive

Funerary terrain

My good friend Albert has lent me some vintage tombs from days gone by (the 90s), and I painted them for the final game of our Temenos campaign, which is set on a crypt

This Heroquest altar will decorate the resting place of the lost Saint, one of its pages has a large illumination of an enthroned figure before a massive hive, who might be the Emperor or the entombed noble that aspires to become ruler of Necromunda once more

This large resin mausoleum had a detailed interior that took some time to paint, but which will look awesome in any game where the players enter inside

Ruined manufactorum

The two ruined factories are a recent addition to our 40k scenery and will provide some nice cover in the eternal battle between the Imperium and its many enemies
Given that it's a Mechanicum instalation I went with a classic red for the outer surfac, that wat it ties up with other industrial elements like the furnace  painted last week and the necromunda silos
Working in a red tinted environment would be hell by any worker, so the interior was painted in a calming cream with some baroque brass accents

So far we only had some shabby cardboard buildings to give cover so I'd like to purchase more 40K scenery in the future to bling the table up, the sector imperialis church would be nice

Sector Mechanicus: blast furnace

A smelting furnace to turn all that necromunda scram into something useful for one
