Bogenhafen swordsmen

Laying on the main trade route between Altdorf and the Empire the city of Bogenhafen is a merchant town grown rich by taxes and the production of wine, its prosperity defended by the steadfast blades of its swordsmen regiments, recruited among the most skillful men of all Reikland. Holding close ties with Altdorf the city often send his men to fight alongside those of the capital, joining in battle against the enemies of mankind to protect both lives and profit margins.
The city's army wear the white of the province halved with a rich purple reminiscing of the grapes and vineyards that produce the tasteful wines sold in the Empire and abroad, the opulence and extravagance of their uniforms serving as a show of wealth to less fortunate troops and towns alike
For the colours I went with their official scheme, shown in the 6th edition rulebook alongside the elite Carroburg Greatswords
Another excellent kit from Highland Miniatures, the regiment is made up of 3d printed models.
Painting was done as usual, with first the two drybrushed halves of the uniform done and then the knifing on the sleeves and trousers followed by leather and the rest of details

For the flag I wanted something special beside the usual heraldic beast, so I copied the town's coat of arms shown in the Warhammer RPG campaign The Enemy Within. The standard top was also replaced by a skull icon taken from the demigryph knights, the only conversion, bar some head swaps, on the unit
