Gothic War: Schildlegheist

 

When the traitorous ships finally arrived, they were outnumbered and caught by surprise, leaving them little choice but to die fighting. For three days the two mighty fleets battled, inflicting horrendous casualties on both sides. But for all their ferocity, the Chaos ships simply could not match the forces arrayed against them.

Final battle of the war at the Schildlegheist system. The imperial Navy advances by the right, massing all firepower against two cruisers. Imperials must destroy the blackstone and get more points to win

Concentrated fire leaves the two heretic vessels gutted

The relatively unscathed chaos right trades fire with Black Templar strike cruisers, while the blackstone blasts away with her warp cannons

The renegade strike cruiser is destroyed by the Hammer of Purity

Now all imperial vessels go after the blackstone, but another warp ray blows up the Solar Macharius

Starships die on both sides, as a devastation cruiser burns to a crisp

Nova cannon shots, close range bombardment and broadsides from the Bloodhawk cripple the fortress

The Hammer of Purity dispatches yet another heretic with her macrocannons

Chaos dreadclaws assault in repeated waves the marine vessels, but the zealous Templars crush most of the hit and run attacks

Finally, much like in the rulebook, marine boarding parties seize control of the blackstone, which then shatters along with the remaining 3 battlestations left in imperial hands

 

Venator

The start of a new project: space battles in the Star Wars universe! The prequels were a landmark of my childhood, and the Clone Wars is one of my favourite series, so it will come as no surprise that the first fleet will belong to the hard pressed Galactic Republic.

This venator star destroyer kickstarts the fleet, painted in the red of diplomatic inmunity

Not sold on the open circle icon , might skip it in the next vessel. After all, this symbol is only displayed by the forces belonging to Kenobi and Skywalker

Plan is to do 3 venators and them get into the separatists

I've also made this card to use the ship in Armada

The Tarantis Star

 

Abaddon, like his rival Ravensburg, was loath to contemplate defeat or to give up what he had won. With 2, possibly 3, Blackstone Fortresses under his command, it was the Despoiler who still presented the greatest threat to the Gothic Sector. Just how much of a threat was not realised until the attack on the Tarantis System. Located on the edge of the Gothic Sector, it was a common gathering ground for starships entering or leaving the region from the Tamahl Sector, and so it was there that the Despoiler determined that he would stem the flow of Imperial reinforcements from entering the sector.

A convoy run today, if the blackstone exits by the enemy board edge chaos wins

The blackstone fortress is a tough nut to crack, armed with fearsome warp cannons

The imperials open long range fire with innacurate nova cannon shots and far more effective macrocannon broadsides

Bombing runs are also made against the battlestation

The Imperial navy closes on the gargantuan construct, opening up with all the guns

Finally it's a bullseye from the Hammer of Purity nova that blows open the blackstone

A lone chaos cruiser is also savaged by massed broadsides

Techno gheists

 

Spooky mechanicum boys! These will be the low level infantry for the army, scurrying around the knight's feet. They come from the mortal realms collectible so have been waiting several months for a paintjob

Scyllax automata, equipped with bolter and power drill for carving open the marine tin cans

Adsecularis thralls equipped with laslock

They can also double up as servitors or Necromunda iron guild

Knight lancer

 

I bought a knight form aliexpress, worst purchase ever! It came without some parts that I had to 3D print, no base either. And the material is some trash over wich the paint keeps peeling, never buying from them again!
