Imperial Fists Tactical

 I finished a tactical squad for the Fists

Since I hate painting yellow I used the same scheme as the termies: veterans of the Howling Gyre Catastrophe, they probably wear black in mourn for the marines lost in that misterious "catastrophe", and since to Terra went the veteran companies of the legions it's even fluffy!

I had it with the round transfers wrinkling in the pauldrons so I putted them on the leg, with veteran crosses instead in the shoulder pads.

American War of Independence for Lasalle

Roliça 1808

 This week's napoleonic battle is Roliça: a small french force under Henri Delaborde must escape the clutches of the whole british army led by Wellesey in order to join with

Junot's army. If two units leave the board by the Zambugeiro edge the french win, if only one it's a tie, if none, british victory.

 The lobsters are coming!

 While the infantry marched, the british hussars moved to outflank the enemy

 The french wheeled to Columberia with the redcoats in hot pursuit

 Lord Hill's hussars manoeuvred to block the road to Zambugeiro

 Wellesey overseeing the envelopment of the french

 One french unit entered Columbeira while the other marched towards the hussars

 Only to be charged by them as the british infantry closed in on Columbeira

 Altough the french failed to form a square, the combat was even

But believing themselves surrounded by the british, the french surrendered. 

It didn't go according to history, since no french escaped, unlike in the real battle where both french units retreated sucessfuly.

Sigismund

 The founder of the black templars is ready, again same problem with the excessive primer layers, probably I'll strip the paint sometime in the future and paint him black.

IF Master of Signal

 An imperial fists master of signal, an officer that gives one unit +1 BS it can also once per game unleash an orbital barrage on the enemy. I gave him three layers of primer (one white, two yellow) with horrifying results, so I won't be using the spray for the troopers just HQ.

 He has a really nice keypad on his forearm to direct the bombardment but the primer shallowed it

Dorn's Huscarls

 The first unit of my pre-heresy Imperial Fists, some termies to go with Dorn. The bases of the whole army will be marble that I picked up from a mountain, befitting for the stonemasons of the Imperial Palace!

Their livery is based on this illustration from Forgeworld

 First time using round transfers and I made the rookie mistake of don't cropping the profile so there are some wrinkles on them

Warhammer goblins

 I painted two more units for the warhammer campaign: forest goblins on giant spiders

 And a fanatic that I had overlooked last year when painting the night goblins en masse
