My first 1:900, this ship was built shortly before the american revolution by the french, captured by the british during the siege of Luisburg in the SYW took part in mediterranean/atlanic actions during the revolution. During most of this time was during the command of John Mcbride a quite sucessful captain than appart from capturing a privateer of the same rate, made surrender no less than two ships at the battle of St Vincent cape, including the spanish flagship!
The ship is the free one given at war artisan which I have coloured in spanish, english and french colours, This as the first has some mistakes such as not cropping the balsa wood in the lower stern and not gluing the pennant before affixing it to the mast. Which I'm not repeating in the next four upcoming brits.
Ship ready for Empire of the Seas
