The temple of Kara

Brave bands of aventurers explore the delta.of the Amaxon and meet in the temple of Kara. An abandoned pyramid ripe for plundering in the lustrian jungle

The lizardmen take to the field decided to recover the ancient relics

But are soon attacked by a band of amazons inent on the same

The brave warrior women also attack a party of elves, while on the backgound a pirate crew also joins the fight

The skinks made a beeline for the pyramid

While their leader was slaughtered among the trees

On the other side of the complex meanwhile pirates and amazons were double teaming the elves, who held the enemy at spear range

Left unopposed the pirate captain and one of his men grabbed the treasure on top of the shrine to Sotek

While a saurus held onto a sacred plaque despite the local flora

After killing two saurus and the skink priest the amazon champion was killed by a lashworm

While the skinks rushed along the forst terrace a warrior woman climbed to the top of the temple

Dodging some swarms on the way

And defending the top treasure from the swarming lizardmen

Another of the diminutive creatures was.killed by the pirate's duelling pistol

And after securing their third treasure the amazons made their escape

Joined sokn by the lizardmen

And the badly mauled elves

The pirates were thus left in control of the field but it was a bitter victory, since most of their crew was ooa and one of the ofdivers was even savrificed by the vengeful lizardmen!
