Cyberpunk clubbing

 

For my next cyberpunk session I needed some more civilians and a dressed up plotician, so I comissinoed these minis form my local 3D printers. They are a mix of papsikels and Unit 9

Ves

One of the caracthers that caught my attention in the witcher 3 game was ves, a female guerrilla fighter that joined Geralt in his fight against Radovid and the wild hunt. I've recently found a 3D model of her and decided to add her to my witch hunter warband as a sword wielding zealot

I followed her videogame render for the paintjob, changing a bit the colours for missing/added elements in the 3D model

 

Mordheim playtest

 

Played a little game of Mordheim last friday to test our warbands before starting a campaign in october. My witch hunters and dad's reiklanders took a ship to Lustria for a jungle skirmish

Geralt and Ciri kept back firing with their crossbows

While flagellants and warhounds advanced hugging cover

Ana let slip the dogs of war and charged into the enemy flank

While on the  center the men of Altdorf formed a gunline

First blood went to the hounds

Who ate up both Reikland recruits quite fast 

Then father Luther led the charge up the center

But the cowardly altdorfer soon lost heart and fled

Talamanca 1714

Last week was the anniversary of the fall of Catalonia to the bourbons, and to remember all those fallen in defence of our liberties we replayed a battle from that period, the last victory of the Catalan army at Talamanca before the final defeat. 

A mix of catalan regulars and militia were deployed in the village of Talamanca waiting for the best chance to pounce on the besiegers of Barcelona

Being surprised and attacked by a bourbon column under the count of Montemar in the 13th of august

With both sides separated by a small stream it is the bourbons who take the initiative 

Crossing the river with their cavalry under heavy fire

The sometent milita forms in square as spanish regulars march to the front

In the center dragoons and catalan cuirassiers clashed in a match that would last most of the battle

While on the right the regulars dispersed the austriacist militias

The second sometent unit held their own against the bourbon cavalry however, falling back behind some regulars instead of routing

Time was running out and as night fell a last bourbon charge failed to rout the catalan riders

Ending the battle in a tie similar to the historical outcome but with far greater losses on the catalan side

More missile troops for my Altdorf army, this time with names on the bases to play as Reiklanders in an upcoming Mordheim campaign
